NEW SOUND IN BATTLE!
The band Kanabash Barn made a big impression with their mix of jazz and pop music with emphasis on heavy rhythm. “We want to make pop music more civilised," the leader of the group, Charles Catzavelos, said. Kanabash Barn make use of a variety of instruments, among other things bongos, a flute and two saxophones. Clive Staegeman, flutist, has the potential of a Herbie Mann in the way in which he plays his instrument. This group has been together only two months and Friday night was their second public performance.
